Le Corbusier Sculpture

The Le Corbusier sculpture stands as a bold, concrete bust painted in stark, primary colors. It honors the Swiss-French architect who pioneered the modernist movement. Craig Robins, the developer who transformed this neighborhood, commissioned the piece from artist Xavier Veilhan. Veilhan interpreted the architect’s famous horn-rimmed glasses and sharp features into a geometric form that sits right on the sidewalk. It is a direct homage to the man whose ideas about structure and space shaped the aesthetic of the district itself.
