Within a decade, the building shifted entirely toward jewelry, attracting artisans who occupied the tiny, cramped upstairs offices. During the building's heyday, a watchmaker named Frank Marti sat in his booth for fifty years, repairing timepieces for Miami families while the neighborhood transformed.
