The Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas rises half as tall as the original in France, with a color palette designed to match the ironwork of the Parisian landmark. Opened in nineteen ninety-nine, it offers an observation deck that replicates the view from the real tower’s mid-section. During construction, the tower had to be built around the existing hotel, and engineers had to account for the heavy foot traffic of the Las Vegas Strip sitting directly beneath the structure’s four massive steel legs.
