The Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace

cultural

The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is a four thousand seat venue defined by a massive, curved facade modeled after the ancient Roman original. It opened in two thousand three specifically to house Celine Dion for her residency show, A New Day. Before this theater existed, big name stars toured from city to city for months at a time. The Colosseum changed that pattern by paying performers to stay in one place, effectively creating a permanent home for major residencies on the Las Vegas Strip.
