Michael Leggiero Music Park is a distinct community landmark in Union City, designed specifically as a music-themed water park for local children. The park features a splash pad and a wading pool, offering a cooling escape during the summer months. Its design integrates interactive water play elements with musical motifs, reflecting the city’s commitment to providing recreational spaces for its younger residents. The park is named in honor of Michael A. Leggiero, a lifelong Union City resident who dedicated over three decades to the North Hudson Community Action Corporation. He served as the organization’s director, expanding its reach from seven programs to twenty, and was also an elected member of the Union City Board of Commissioners.
