The Cunard Building at 25 Broadway stands as a monument to the golden age of ocean travel. When it opened in 1921, this limestone edifice served as the North American headquarters for the Cunard Line, a company whose ships once dominated the transatlantic route. The building was designed by architect Benjamin Wistar Morris, who was so trusted by the shipping giant that he later helped design the opulent interiors for their legendary ocean liners, the Queen Mary and the Queen Elizabeth.
