47th Street Theatre

The 47th Street Theatre at 304 West 47th Street began its life in 1888 as Fire Engine Company Number 54. Designed by the architectural firm Napoleon LeBrun and Sons, the building served the New York City Fire Department for decades before being decommissioned. Its sturdy, utilitarian brick structure is a designated New York City landmark, preserving a slice of the city's municipal history within the modern theater district.
