HERE Arts Center

HERE Arts Center sits at the corner of Avenue of the Americas and Dominick Street, serving as a pillar of the Hudson Square neighborhood. Since its founding in 1993, the center has functioned as a laboratory for multidisciplinary performance, intentionally hosting works that blur the lines between theater, dance, music, and puppetry. Its creation was the vision of four artists—Kristin Marting, Tim Maner, Barbara Busackino, and Randy Rollison—who sought to build a permanent, safe harbor for experimental work that did not fit into traditional, commercial programming.
