The Fortitude Music Hall wears a bright, neon-lit facade that glows against the streetscape, recalling the golden age of the ballrooms that once defined this neighborhood. It stands on the former site of the iconic Festival Hall, where everyone from The Beatles to Johnny Cash performed for Brisbane crowds. When the old hall vanished, musicians and developers built this venue to recreate that sense of scale and energy. Its vast, flat floor and soaring ceiling hold three thousand people under one roof.
