Ric's Bar + Backyard

Ric’s Bar features a bright red exterior that stands out against the brickwork of Brunswick Street. It serves as a local landmark because it was the first venue in Brisbane to host live music seven nights a week. During the late eighties, the owner, Ric Capra, opened the doors and kept the stage active when other bars were closing down for the night. This spot became a starting point for local bands that eventually moved on to larger stages across the country.
