Côte de Bœuf

The red brick facade of Côte de Bœuf features a tall, arched window and an oversized front door painted in a deep, matte black. This spot operates as a neighborhood bistro, but the building began as a horse stable for the neighboring nineteenth century manor. Before the kitchen served steak frites, the structure housed thoroughbreds and carriages. You can still see the original brickwork texture inside, where the scent of hay long ago gave way to garlic and searing beef.
