Couronnes Garden

park garden

Couronnes Garden sits in the twentieth arrondissement on land once known as the Couronnes Sous Savies. This area served as the original name for the village of Belleville from the seventh through the eighteenth centuries. Local legend claims this very site was the location where the notorious eighteenth-century outlaw Cartouche was finally captured. Today the garden serves as a quiet neighborhood green space, featuring a hillside covered in elms, maples, and black pine trees that tower over the park. TOPIC_DONE
