The Parvis des Droits de l'Homme stands as the rooftop terrace for the Palais de Chaillot, separating its two sweeping wings. This site was built in the mid nineteen thirties, replacing the concert hall of a previous palace that once occupied the hill. Today, it offers one of the most iconic vantage points in the city, framing the Eiffel Tower across the river.
