Château des Brouillards

The Chateau des Brouillards, or Castle of Mists, takes its name from a natural phenomenon that once defined this hillside. Local springs would release water vapor that condensed into thick, swirling fog across this specific patch of land each morning. Long before the elegant residence you see today was built in 1772, the site was occupied by a windmill known as the Moulin des Brouillards, which likely served as the primary landmark for these recurring clouds.
