Musée de Radio France

You are looking at the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique, an unmistakable circular landmark on the banks of the Seine. Known locally as the Maison Ronde, or Round House, this sprawling structure was completed in 1963 to act as the central headquarters for French public broadcasting. Its design features a massive ring with a circumference of five hundred meters, centered around a high tower that functions as the heart of its operations. Before this architectural giant was built, the various studios and offices of French radio and television were scattered across more than forty different locations throughout Paris.
