The Maison Ozenfant stands as a pivotal monument to the birth of modern architecture in Paris. Designed in nineteen twenty-two, it was the first building Le Corbusier ever constructed in the city. He built it specifically for his close collaborator, the painter Amédée Ozenfant, and the structure served as a laboratory for the radical design principles they were developing together at the time.
