The Beffroi de Montrouge stands out for its sharp, geometric concrete facade and the massive, rectangular tower that looms over the town square. Completed in the early nineteen-thirties, this administrative center was the ambitious project of Mayor Jules Ferry, who wanted a structure that projected modern efficiency. The architect Henri Decaux designed it with clean lines and functional spaces to house the town's municipal offices. Inside the main hall, a mural by Henri Marret depicts a sprawling, idealized map of the local landscape.
