cultural

The Beffroi de Montrouge dominates the skyline with a distinct Art Deco silhouette that feels more like an urban lighthouse than a traditional municipal building. Designed by architect Henri Decaux and inaugurated in nineteen thirty-three, the structure was originally commissioned to serve as the town’s primary administrative center. While it once housed government offices, it has since shed its bureaucratic skin to become a dedicated hub for contemporary art, theater, and culture.
