Collège néerlandais

The Collège néerlandais stands out for its sharp, white concrete facade and the rhythmic, deep-set windows that create a heavy grid across its surface. Designed by Willem Marinus Dudok and completed in nineteen thirty-eight, it served as a home for Dutch students within the Cité internationale universitaire. During the German occupation, the Nazis seized the building to house their own officers. They left behind a concrete bunker in the basement, which still sits beneath the peaceful student rooms upstairs.
