Jardin André-Ulmann

The Jardin Andre Ulmann is a quiet green space in the seventeenth arrondissement that serves as a living tribute to a complex figure of twentieth-century French history. Created in nineteen forty-seven, the garden was officially named in nineteen ninety-two to honor Andre Ulmann, a journalist and resistance fighter. The site acts as a point of intersection for local residents, shaded by a mix of hybrid plane trees, yews, and Japanese cherry trees that provide a dense canopy throughout the warmer months.
