Tombe de Gustave Eiffel

historic

The tomb of Gustave Eiffel stands out in the Levallois-Perret cemetery thanks to its simple, restrained design, featuring a bronze plaque and a small, understated bust of the engineer. While his name is synonymous with the iron lattice tower that defines the Parisian skyline, Eiffel chose a quiet final resting place far from the center of his architectural feats. He lived out his final years in a mansion nearby, and he died here in nineteen twenty-three.
