Roybet Fould Museum

The Roybet Fould Museum stands out with its Swedish pavilion architecture, featuring red-painted wooden walls and white trim. Originally constructed for the eighteen seventy-eight World's Fair in Paris, the structure moved to Courbevoie later that year. Constance Marie Charpentier and Ferdinand Roybet filled the interior with their paintings and historical artifacts. When the local municipality took ownership, they preserved the collection within these timber walls, keeping a piece of nineteenth-century exhibition design intact long after the fair ended.
