Roybet Fould Museum

The Roybet Fould Museum stands in the park of Bécon as a survival of the nineteenth century World Exhibition. The structure itself is a historic Scandinavian pavilion built in Oslo and transported to Paris for the eighteen seventy eight World Fair. After the exhibition concluded, the Romanian Prince Georges Stirbey purchased the building and had it reconstructed here in Courbevoie. It remains a rare example of early prefabricated architecture, featuring a facade decorated with unique geometric motifs made from wood shavings.
