Fronton de la caserne Charras

The stone facade of the Charras barracks features a prominent, carved relief of a military trophy, mounted high above what was once the main entrance. Built in eighteen seventy-seven, the barracks housed the French cavalry for decades, serving as a tactical hub for the military presence in the Paris suburbs. During the late nineteen sixties, officials demolished the entire sprawling complex to make way for modern redevelopment, leaving only this decorative stonework preserved in its original position, now integrated into a contemporary commercial structure.
