Hôtel de Ville, Courbevoie

The Hôtel de Ville of Courbevoie features a distinctive brick and stone facade topped by a clock tower that rises above the surrounding neighborhood. It occupies the site of a much older seventeenth century manor house that once stood in the heart of what was then a small village. Architect Henri Duboc built the current structure in the eighteen seventies to manage the needs of a rapidly expanding population. The interior holds a grand staircase adorned with frescoes depicting the history of the town.
