Tour Alto

Tour Alto fans out as it rises, a skyscraper in the La Defense business district with a facade covered in thirty-eight thousand scales of iridescent glass. Its footprint is narrow at the ground level, covering only about six hundred square meters, but each higher floor juts further outward. Architect IF Architectes designed this shape to squeeze a massive amount of office space into a tight, constrained urban plot. Beneath the shimmering scales, the building creates a silhouette that widens as it stretches toward the sky.
