Parc de la Planchette

The wrought iron gates of the Parc de la Planchette open onto a three hectare expanse of century old trees and manicured lawns. This land once belonged to the sprawling estate of the Planchette family, local landowners who cultivated vines and fruit trees long before the suburban density of Levallois-Perret consumed the surrounding fields. When the city bought the property in nineteen twenty-four, the mayor turned the private pleasure gardens into a public space, keeping the tall cedars and the winding paths intact.
