Parc de Bécon

The Parc de Bécon sits on a steep slope overlooking the Seine, identified by the two white, Neoclassical structures known as the Pavillon des Indes and the Pavillon de la Suède. These buildings were relocated here after the eighteen eighty-nine World's Fair in Paris. Prince George Bibesco Bibescu once owned the estate, turning the grounds into a private garden. He hosted frequent parties for European royalty and artists, filling the park with exotic plants before the city of Courbevoie eventually purchased the land.
