The Cour du Bel air is a narrow, fifty-six meter long passage tucked away from the noise of the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine. This tranquil space dates back to the seventeenth century and stands in stark contrast to the busy thoroughfares that surround it. The site features a historic townhouse built around sixteen seventy-four, which was once grandly referred to as the Hotel de Bel-Air because its layout between a courtyard and a garden mimicked the aristocratic mansions of the era.
