Mandarake Complex

other

The Mandarake Complex occupies an eight-story building covered in bright, floor-to-ceiling posters of manga characters. It began in nineteen eighty as a small, cramped shop selling second-hand comics in a nearby basement. When the store grew, it moved into this tower to manage a massive inventory of rare collectibles, vintage toys, and animation cells. Collectors climb the narrow stairs to search for specific editions of magazines that once cost pennies but now trade for thousands of dollars among enthusiasts.
