Parroquia Santa Teresita

The Parroquia Santa Teresita features a distinctive, neo-Gothic facade that rises sharply above the neighborhood skyline with its twin pointed towers. Built in the nineteen thirties, the church became the heart of a district that grew rapidly as families moved into this part of Guadalajara. Local stonecutters spent years carving the intricate details around the main entrance. During the construction, residents contributed small coins every Sunday to pay for the materials, turning the building into a project owned by the neighborhood itself.
