religious

You are standing near the site of Bermondsey Abbey, a place that once dominated this landscape as a powerhouse of both wealth and political influence. While the area is now defined by modern streets and shops, a thin sliver of the past remains hidden in plain sight. The iron gate hooks that once held massive doors are still embedded directly into the old stone wall at number seven.
