You are standing in front of what was once a typical Victorian-era furniture factory. This building represents a significant pivot point in London's art history. In the year 2000, gallerist Victoria Miro relocated her business here from the wealthy West End, a move that helped shift the city's creative center toward the East End. While the exterior retains its utilitarian brick facade, the interior was transformed into a sprawling gallery space that, at the time, was ten times the size of her previous home.
