Florin Court

Florin Court serves as a prime example of the curving art deco style known as Streamline Moderne. Its most distinctive feature is the sweeping, bowed facade that follows the curve of the street, designed to mimic the lines of a luxury ocean liner. Architects Guy Morgan and Partners completed this building in nineteen thirty-six, intentionally creating a structure that felt modern and forward-looking in an era defined by traditional brick terraced housing.
