The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain is an oval ring of Cornish granite that sits in the southwest corner of Hyde Park. It contains five hundred and forty-five individual pieces of stone, each shaped by advanced computer-controlled cutting machines to create a precise, flowing landscape. This technology allowed the designers to mirror the natural contours of the park's slope, turning the memorial into a dynamic stream bed that encourages people to interact with the water.
