The Union Theatre occupies a space beneath historic railway arches in Southwark. Before it became a center for musical theater, the site functioned as a disused paper warehouse. Artistic director Sasha Regan transformed this industrial shell into a performance venue in 1998, choosing the location for its distinct atmosphere.
