Dr. Fisherian's Runaway Machine

Dr. Fisherians Runaway Machine is a large-scale sculpture located in Crane Cove Park in the Central Waterfront. The piece is the work of artists Chris Wollard and Kevin Conran and was installed in October of twenty twenty-five. The sculpture is painted a vivid red and depicts a fantastical walking contraption caught mid-stride. It blends industrial materials with a whimsical design meant to resemble a machine escaping from a laboratory or a factory floor. Its placement in the park honors the area's industrial history while adding a modern, playful landmark to the waterfront setting.
