The Guardians of the City Museum and Safety Learning Center stands as a tribute to the men and women who have served as San Francisco first responders. The site houses a significant collection of equipment from the San Francisco Fire Department, including hand-pumped engines from the nineteenth century and motorized trucks from the twentieth century.
