Sinai Memorial | San Francisco & North Bay Funeral Home

historic

Sinai Memorial Chapel traces its origins to 1901, when it was established as the Hebrew Funeral Parlors. It began with a singular, communal mission to provide dignified burials for members of the Jewish community who lacked the financial means to afford them. This founding purpose as a nonprofit sacred burial society remains central to its identity today, distinguishing it as the only Jewish funeral home of its kind in Northern California and one of the few remaining nonprofit funeral societies in the entire United States.
