The Divisadero Halloween House at two hundred eighty-four Divisadero Street began as a modest personal project two decades ago. Owner Tommy Leyva started the tradition because of his childhood fascination with neighbors who went all out with lights and decorations. What began as a simple collection of seasonal items has since transformed into a local landmark that draws crowds throughout the entire month of October.
