Santa Fe Teahouse & Bistro

The Santa Fe Teahouse and Bistro occupies a low-slung, thick-walled adobe structure that sits flush against the sidewalk. Its most distinct feature is the deep portal, or covered porch, shaded by heavy vigas that hold up the roof. This building started as a family home in the early twentieth century before transitioning into a space for public gathering. Locals often gathered here during the nineteen seventies, when the site became a hub for early tea culture in the city.
