The Nedra Matteucci Galleries occupy a sprawling, low-slung compound built from traditional adobe bricks. This site once served as the home and studio of artist Randall Davey. He bought the old sawmill here in nineteen twenty, turning the rugged industrial space into a sanctuary for painters and printmakers. Today, the thick, earth-colored walls surround quiet sculpture gardens where bronzes sit tucked between native trees. It remains a place where art holds the space formerly occupied by the noise of milling timber.
