The Santa Fe Farmers Market occupies a distinct, long, shed-like structure clad in rusted corrugated metal. This building serves as the permanent home for growers from the surrounding high desert valleys. Before this structure rose in two thousand eight, vendors sold their harvests from the back of trucks in a parking lot. Today, the space contains over one hundred fifty vendors who must grow everything they sell within a one hundred mile radius of the city.
