The MoDE - The Museum of Digital Experiences

The Museum of Digital Experiences, or The MoDE, established itself in Dumbo as a space for interactive, technology-based art. Unlike traditional museums that prioritize the preservation of static objects, this institution emphasizes active participation. Visitors engage with fourteen distinct installations where the art responds directly to human movement, gesture, and reflection. The founders designed these experiences to bridge the gap between abstract digital code and tangible human connection. It represents a modern shift in how cultural spaces are utilized in the neighborhood, moving away from its former industrial identity toward an era of tech-forward creativity.
