Senteurs d'Angkor (Old Market)

other

Senteurs d'Angkor sits near the Old Market with a facade framed by open wooden shutters and jars of spices. It began in two thousand four when a French couple moved to Siem Reap to revive traditional Khmer crafts like soap making and spice blending. They hired local villagers to work in the workshop, training them to process ingredients like lemongrass, galangal, and coconut oil by hand. The workshop remains a place where production happens in plain sight for anyone passing by the windows.
