Port de Malmousque

The Port de Malmousque is a tiny cove tucked into the Endoume coastline, recognizable by the jumble of low, weathered fishing cabins huddled right against the Mediterranean waves. Long before the city expanded, this was a secluded retreat for local fishermen who navigated these rocky inlets. During the second world war, German soldiers occupied these structures to monitor the coast, leaving behind concrete bunkers that now sit seamlessly against the original stone masonry. Today, residents still moor their small wooden boats here.
