Théâtre Tristan Bernard

The Théâtre Tristan Bernard is marked by a modest, rounded facade that pushes slightly into the street corner, wrapped in cream-colored stone. It began as a boxing ring in nineteen twelve, known as the Théâtre Albert Premier. During the twenties, it shifted toward lighter comedy and eventually took the name of the playwright Tristan Bernard. Behind the marquee, the walls still hold the ghosts of those early matches, back when the venue was a place where local fighters settled scores in the ring.
