Tour Super-Italie

landmark

The Tour Super-Italie stands as a landmark of vertical living, rising one hundred and twelve meters above the thirteenth arrondissement. Completed in nineteen seventy-four, this cylindrical skyscraper was the most ambitious achievement of the Italie Thirteen urban renewal project, an initiative designed to replace older, low-density housing with high-rise structures. While most residential buildings of that era were built as rectangular blocks, architect Maurice Novarina designed this tower as a distinct, nearly perfect circle. This unique silhouette makes it an unmistakable feature of the Parisian skyline, intended to offer residents sweeping, unobstructed views of the city.
