Hôtel Potocki

The Hôtel Potocki stands as a grand reminder of the Belle Époque, a period when Parisian private mansions functioned as stages for the city's most influential social and literary circles. Built between 1878 and 1884 for Count Félix-Nicolas Potocki and his wife, Countess Emmanuela, the mansion was designed by architect Jules Reboul to reflect the immense wealth and status of one of Europe's most prominent aristocratic families. The building is defined by a majestic neo-classical façade and a monumental interior staircase crafted from eight different shades of marble, which was explicitly designed to rival the grandeur of the Palais Garnier.
