The four-story sandstone facade at Kaiserstraße thirty stands out for its curved corner oriel, a tower-like projection that anchors the building to the street junction. Built around nineteen hundred, this townhouse was designed as a residence for the growing upper-middle class during Heidelberg’s rapid expansion toward the railway station. It housed private apartments for decades, but during the mid-twentieth century, the ground floor was refitted as a pharmacy, which operated behind these high windows until just a few years ago.
