The building at Ambewadi is marked by a deep, ochre-colored facade that stands out against the gray of the surrounding concrete. This structure served as the original headquarters for the Naiks, a family of local entrepreneurs who grew their business from a small storefront into a textile hub during the mid-twentieth century. Workers still gather in the narrow alleyway alongside the side entrance during shift changes, just as they did when the looms inside were operating at full capacity every single day.
