The Bazar Kaserian is identifiable by the narrow, towering brick archway that marks its entrance, leading into a cluster of high-walled courtyards. Originally built to house the craftsmen who worked exclusively with brass and copper, these dwellings allowed artisans to keep their furnaces and heavy tools inside private residential compounds. During the nineteenth century, these families supplied the intricate metal vessels used in household kitchens and nearby temples. Today, the soot-stained walls hold a quiet collection of small workshops and family homes.
